November is fast approaching and we are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at our Annual Scientific Meeting in Birmingham!
This year’s programme will have several interactive elements, with simulation stations and roundtable discussions. The goal of these sessions is to promote the sharing of knowledge between delegates and to facilitate networking. Our varied programme also has presentations on the latest intraoperative monitoring research going on in the UK, insights into the patient’s perspective on their surgical journey, updates about training opportunities in intraoperative monitoring and more.
You can register for the meeting here: https://bss2024.eventreference.com/register, and you can find the most up to date programme for the conference here: https://bss2024.co.uk/additional-meetings/bsin/
We have also created a new session this year aiming to give intraoperative monitoring practitioners who are early in their career an opportunity to present a short case study. We plan to allocate 10 minutes for each presentation, with some time afterwards for questions. This is a great opportunity to get experience of presenting at a conference on your CV and to share a case of interest with the wider intraoperative monitoring community! If you are interested, please email contact@bsin.org.uk.
We would also welcome expressions of interest from any more experienced IOM practitioners regarding presenting at conference, either for this year or at future meetings – if you have some research or developments in intraoperative monitoring that you would like to share, please get in contact via contact@bsin.org.uk and let us know!
Hope to see you in Birmingham,
Adam Hart
